Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a city in Oakland County, and it happens to be the county’s second-largest city. The gymnastics school instructs children ages two and up. Kola Restaurant and Ultra Lounge is the only restaurant in the Detroit area dedicated to West African cuisine. Besides foods like moi moi and egusi, it offers live entertainment like comedians and bands. See a play at the Farmington Players Barn Theater. It has been showcasing over 210 comedies, dramas, mysteries and musicals since 1953. Feel free to audition for a play or volunteer in other ways. Farmington Hills has many public schools that are operated by Farmington Public Schools, the Clarenceville School District, and the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. It also has several private schools that include Catholic, Lutheran and Jewish schools. 

About 58 percent of real estate properties in Farmington Hills are single family dwellings. There is also a large chunk (about 30 percent) of apartment complexes. Other types of homes in Farmington Hills include small apartment buildings, mobile homes, and townhouses.
